Practices

We will begin practices for the season on Monday, 11/4, from 4:00-5:30 at Tumbleweed Park (Field # TBD) and we will continue with practices the rest of that week on Tuesday (11/5), Thursday (11/7), and Friday (11/8) also from 4:00-5:30pm.

The Lincoln Prep field goes into the overseeding process starting 10/28, and we will be at Tumbleweed for all practices until the week of 12/2.

Monday (11/4)/Tuesday (11/5) will be for 5th and 6th graders only, and Thursday (11/7)/Friday (11/8) will be for 7th/8th graders. We will use this first week to sort out teams, so we will need to split the group these two days to accurately evaluate. It is very possible an advanced 5th/6th grader will be asked to also attend the Thursday/Friday portion of the first week.

Practices going forward will continue to be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at Tumbleweed Park (Fields TBD) from 4:00-5:30pm throughout November. The exceptions will be 11/28 and 11/29 (Thanksgiving Break).

We will follow up with a December practice schedule as the time draws nearer.

Game Schedule

Our game schedule will likely not be released until mid-November at the earliest. I usually have to attend a meeting after the first week with the amount of teams Lincoln will be fielding, and then from there the game schedule is created. Once it is finalized I will get it out to you all ASAP.

Teams and Coaches

This year we once again plan to field both an "A" and "B" level team. Our A team will be coached by returning coach Deonte Edge, and our B team will be handled by a pair of new coaches, one being current LPA teacher Michael Gray. I am super excited for our athletes to work with our coaches this season.

Registration and Payment

Most of you have already completed all of the necessary components of online registration, but if you have not done so please make sure to do so by the end of next week (11/1). This includes e-signing all online forms through BigTeams, uploading a copy of a completed sports physical (8 total pages, completed on or after 3/1/24) for review, and paying the MS Boys Soccer participation fee ($275). Registration and physicals must be fully completed before participating in any type of practice, and payment must be submitted prior to our first game. You can use the links below to find these!

Did You Know?????

Did you know we have a HS Boys Soccer team? Our boys program is entering their 3rd year as a Varsity program, and Coach Acharya has been working tirelessly over the Summer (camps) and Fall (open fields) to improve the Boys Soccer product here at Lincoln Prep. We want you to be a part of our future!
