Practices

We will begin practices for the season on Tuesday, 11/5, from 4:00-5:30 at Chandler Tennis Center (Tumbleweed Park, Court TBD) and we will continue with practices the rest of that week on Thursday (11/7) and Friday (11/8) also from 4:00-5:30pm. Practices will continue to be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at Chandler Tennis Center from 4:00-5:30pm throughout November. The exceptions will be 11/28 and 11/29 (Thanksgiving Break). We will follow up with a December practice schedule as the time draws nearer.

Match Schedule

Our match schedule will likely not be released until mid-November at the earliest. I usually have to attend a meeting after the first week with the amount of teams Lincoln will be fielding, and then from there the match schedule is created. Once it is finalized I will get it out to you all ASAP.

Teams and Coaches

This year we once again plan to field both a boys and a girls team. Our teams will be coached by returning coach Jessica Burdick, and new assistant coach Brooke Priest. I am super excited for our athletes to work with our coaches as they are both LPA MS teachers and already have a very good rapport with the student community. HS Coach Stacy Rendell will also be out on occasion to assist.

Registration and Payment

Most of you have already completed all of the necessary components of online registration, but if you have not done so please make sure to do so by the end of next week (11/1). This includes e-signing all online forms through BigTeams, uploading a copy of a completed sports physical (8 total pages, completed on or after 3/1/24) for review, and paying the MS Tennis participation fee ($275). Registration and physicals must be fully completed before participating in any type of practice, and payment must be submitted prior to our first game. You can use the links below to find these!

Did You Know?????

Did you know our HS Tennis team made the state tournament last season? Last year seniors Davin Baluran and Colin Rendell represented Lincoln Prep Tennis in the AIA State Tournament. Our HS program is growing, and we would love for you all to be a part of it in the future!
